Spelling

This isn't really a news item but it serves a dual purpose. First I want to point out that all the content on this website is typed directly in html and posted, so there is no spelling and grammer checker. In the future I will try to type in a word proccessor and then post so there will be a degree of spelling and grammer checking.

The secondary purpose of this post is to fill this news thing up a little bit while I continue to test the site and figure out how I want this all to look and work.

Website is finally done

So this is really the website half done. Its just the template. I need to figure out what I am putting where and why. It shouldnt be too bad. I am having some difficulty figureing out how to integrate the upload program into my current set up without just dumping the upload program into my wwwroot. What does that mean? Well it means I still have some work to do. For the time being the uploader is accessbile through Upload.

You will see that many pages say if you have any comments send them to me. Please do I have this site and want to make it as good as possible. So if you have a way for me to make it gooder than it is let me know.

New worm on the loose

A new worm called Crowt-A sends it self as an attachment to an e-mail disguised as a cnn news alert. It takes the current headline from cnn.com and inserts it in the subject and the copies the text of the article into the body of the message. Clicking on the attachment will infect your computer.

If you see message like this delete it and do not open the attachment. This isn't such a malicious virus in terms of infectiom methods but it is dangerous since it will pose as a current news item.

2 New Apple Products

Apple released 2 new products last week. First the "Headless Mac" or Mac mini starting at a reasonable $499 they are hoping it will motivate many PC users who love the iPod and are considering a mac to purchase a mini.

In addition, they released the much anticipated flash based media device called the iPod Shuffle. Available for a mere $100 and a 4 week back order you can have you very own. It holds 512mb and is also availble in a 1gb format that supposedly holds 240 songs.
